Injury Assessments

Initial Consulation

Your initial consultation is all about understanding you as an individual, not just your injury.

During this session, your clinician will take a detailed look at your previous injury history, explore your current symptoms, and discuss your activity levels, lifestyle, and training demands.

We will also work with you to identify clear, realistic goals. Whether that’s returning to sport, improving performance, or simply moving pain free. This is so we can create a personalised treatment and rehabilitation plan tailored to you.

Assessment

Your physical assessment is a key part of the consultation, allowing your clinician to gain a clear understanding of how your body is moving and functioning.

This will involve a series of objective tests including posture analysis, range of motion, strength testing, and joint assessment, alongside observing movement patterns relevant to your sport or daily activities.

Depending on injury we will assess areas such as stability, mobility, muscle imbalances, and any compensations that may be contributing to your symptoms.

This thorough approach helps us accurately diagnose the issue and build a targeted treatment and rehabilitation plan that addresses the root cause, not just the symptoms.

Recovery Plan

Following your assessment, we create a tailored recovery plan designed specifically around you, your injury, and your goals using our PhysiApp program.

This will combine hands-on treatment with a structured rehabilitation programme, including targeted exercises to improve strength, mobility, control, and overall movement quality.

Your plan will take into account your lifestyle, training schedule, and any timeframes you may be working towards, ensuring it is both realistic and effective.

We will guide you through each stage of your recovery, progressing your program as you improve, with a focus on not only resolving your current issue but reducing the risk of re-injury and enhancing long-term performance.
